Detox treatment

When you have been coping with addiction for a long time, using excessive amounts of alcohol or drugs, you might first need to detox. Once your body has become accustomed to those substances, withdrawal symptoms may occur if you quit. This makes treatment with professional guidance essential.

If the addiction assessment shows that you require detoxification, we will guide you through this process. As detox can be very demanding depending on the substance and the severity of the addiction, we only perform it under the safe supervision of our dedicated medical staff. Our specialised doctors and nurses will monitor and assist you during this process. After consulting you, your doctor may prescribe medication to minimise withdrawal symptoms and speed up the detoxification process.

Once you have gone through a medically-assisted detox successfully, the substances to which you are addicted to are removed from your system. At that point we can continue your treatment at Connection SGGZ.
