Here, you can read recovery stories from some of our former clients. We are proud that they have the courage to share their stories, openly and honestly. They managed to turn their vulnerability into strength, which is what motivates our team every single day. We hope these stories inspire you to seek help if you too are struggling with addiction.

    Recognise this?

Perhaps you recognise yourself in the stories below. It might help to know that these former clients were once at the same point in their lives as you are now.  They reached out for help and are currently in sustained recovery. It takes courage to admit that you can’t solve everything on your own and we deeply respect that. While only you can take the first step, our team is here to help you with every step that follows. Call +31 40-303 5023 or fill out the contact form below and share your story.

    Bart

    Bart’s recovery story

My name is Bart and I’m an addict.

I’m 30 years old and was born in Brunssum, the Netherlands, the second son of Monique and Piet Hein. My parents gave me a wonderful childhood. Growing up, I lived above my parents' business and attended a local school. By Year Six at primary school, I was scouted, which kickstarted a top-level baseball career.

    Edwin

    Edwin’s recovery story

My name is Edwin and I’m an addict.

I grew up with my parents, two sisters and a brother. I’m the youngest in the family. At primary school, I had quite a few friends, but I struggled with a stammer which got worse over time. It made me feel different from everyone else.
